The Flower Conservatory of San Francisco
Taken with a Nikon CoolPix at the San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers.
More flowers at the conservatory.
A neat picture taken in the 'Swamp Climate' room of the conservatory; you can't see it, but behind me was a huge carnivorous plant.
Just how big was that carnivorous plant? Who knows.

For Lack of a Better Name: Random Photography

Knee high converse, a phone camera, and a sunny day all make an interesting focus for an amateur photographer.
I find myself lacking a descriptive description. It's a tree, that's all there is to it.
Messing with the focus on my camera produced an interesting picture.
It's a long road back. Okay, maybe not so long, about 2 miles.

San Francisco
A shot of the San Fran bay, taken on a hike through the Marine Headlands.
A little farther along on the hike, not far from there I rolled down a hill of Ice Plant.

Grids

Spiral grid of Mater's eye from Cars.
Abram as a model for the rule of thirds grid. His left eye is used as the golden point, although my framing was off.

In Flight

Abram 'in flight'. After a few tries I was able to get a good shot of him in air.

Working with Lights

Here we used artificial lighting to highlight his face, the lights along with the use of golden points made for a decent picture.
Candid Photography
A candid shot of a friend.

Another picture, love how the background fuzzed and left her in the focus.
